Foundation Learning is a flexible programme for 16-18
year olds and at Dimensions the programme is based
around hairdressing.
It is designed to help you prepare for working life, to
build your confidence and to provide you with skills and
support to help you progress to an Apprenticeship, further
education or other work.
The aim of the programme is to help you become more
confident and motivated whilst at the same time
experiencing work in a commercial salon and gaining
hairdressing qualifications as you go.
How long will it last?
Attendance will vary from 16 to 30 hours a week and may
last a relatively short period of time or up to 36 weeks
depending on your individual needs.
