We are currently recruiting for suitably qualified Hairdressing tutor to work in our Sheffield Academy.

The successful candidate will have relevant industry experience and possess up to an NVQ Level 3 in Hairdressing, and hold a relevant teaching qualification. The position will involve delivering Hairdressing units within practical and theory based lessons to post 16 learners up to a full level 1, whereupon they should progress onto our Apprenticeship programme. There maybe occasions where visits to salons they have been placed in for work experience will be required to carry out reviews.

We are currently recruiting for suitably qualified Hairdressing Trainer/Assessor to work in our Sheffield Academy.

The successful candidate will have relevant industry experience and possess up to an NVQ Level 3 in Hairdressing, A1 assessor award and ideally completed their PTLLS/CTLLS qualifications. If candidates do not possess their teaching qualifications this is something the company would consider supporting the right candidate with. Experience of the work based learning industry would be preferred but not essential. The position will entail having a caseload of Apprentices at level 2 & 3 where you will deliver both practical and theory based lessons in our academies, along with visiting their workplaces to carry out reviews etc.  There will be opportunities to deliver on our commercial courses.

We are looking for qualified hairdressers with up to date skills and knowledge to deliver a variety of Hairdressing and Barbering courses covering NVQ Level 2 & 3, Advanced cutting techniques, colouring etc. These courses will run at various times throughout the week within our academies based across the region in Leeds, Sheffield, Wakefield and Barnsley. We are looking for tutors that can work either during the week, evenings and/or Saturdays.

Candidates must have their own transport and possess their A1 and appropriate teaching qualifications.

To work within our school based salons delivering a range of NVQ Level 1 Hair & Beauty Qualifications

To work within our city centre academy from September 11 delivering NVQ 1 & 2 Hair & Beauty qualification on our school's programmes.

Candidates must possess all necessary teaching qualification or evidence that they are working towards them. It would be advantageous to have had previous experience of working with the 14-16 cohort, along with holding your assessor & verifier qualification.

Successful candidates would be expected to commence in August in preparation for the new academic year.
